Project Solution

Developed a risk data ingestion, cleaning, curation and tagging pipeline that accepts raw inputs (API feeds or UI upload), saves them to the backend, processes and enriches them through multiple stages, applies a food ontology graph integration, performs text cleaning and calculations (e.g., cost, cost per weight), and deposits curated records into a datastore to enable rich parameter-based search. Work was done using the Lightbend (Scala) stack; engagement included an initial two-week trial in November 2016 followed by approximately four weeks of full development in January–February 2017.
