Project Summary

Railsware developed an online academic competition platform from start to finish and supported the platform through special events prior to full launch. The vendor provided long-term engineering continuity (one lead engineer did the majority of the code), front-end engineering, design, and project-management support; they also partnered with Netguru for backend work in a later phase. The platform launched events with strong user adoption and generated revenue.

Key Challenges

  • Needed expertise to build and launch a new web application
  • Required long-term engineering continuity and reliable technical leadership
