Altkom Software & Consulting developed and tested a POS system and related fiscal solutions for a mid-size IT company (GEBIT solutions) serving the retail industry. Altkom participated from requirements specification through development, internal testing, code review and automated testing, then supported deployment to store chains and cash registers. Their work enabled the client to roll the solution out to additional countries faster; the team delivered on time and communicated regularly despite some staffing changes.

After successful tests the solution was deployed to selected store chains and implemented on cash registers. The vendor staffed the engagement with three technical people and a project manager from Altkom.
