Techugo was contracted to rebuild a client-facing Android app for a health tech startup, with features for medical record storage, messaging, appointment scheduling, and informational content delivery. The project was scheduled for 12–16 weeks but extended to nearly twice that time; the app remained unreleased with incomplete features and numerous bugs, and the client ultimately hired in-house staff to finish the work. The client also reported poor communication and repeated missed milestones.

Project Solution

Built a ground-up Android client app for patients with chronic conditions, implementing content delivery (animation videos, infographics), appointment reminders, medical record management, messaging, and connection to doctors. Techugo developed the Android app end-to-end using backend APIs provided by the client and staffed the project with one Android developer and a single point of contact/project manager.
