Project Summary

Itransition designed and built a web and iOS mobile app and the full backend infrastructure for a forensic ballistics company, and they are collaborating on AIML work. The engagement began in October 2021 and is ongoing; the client reports reaching an alpha milestone and progressing toward beta. The team is credited with strong execution, timely delivery on milestones, and high-quality code.

Key Challenges

  • Aggressive time-to-market requiring rapid scaling
  • Need for a competent development partner to build the complete product and infrastructure

Project Deliverables

  • iOS mobile app (3D scanner) integrating proprietary hardware
  • Web application for image analysis (virtual microscope)
  • Backend infrastructure and databases supporting web and mobile products

The engagement includes ongoing development with a cross-functional team and formal project management using Jira and Confluence.
