Project Solution

IT Touch designed and built a custom purchase-order and invoicing ecosystem (materials, cost/product acceptance and capital-expenditure management modules) to avoid purchasing SAP licenses. The initial system reached technical readiness in about eight months and was stabilized after nine months. The vendor used jBPM to enable future development without regression. Subsequently IT Touch has been migrating the client's Microsoft BizTalk-based integration bus to a more flexible solution, migrating roughly 1–2 interfaces per month and about 50 interfaces so far. The vendor works remotely using a waterfall model and provides ongoing support and architecture consulting.
