Project Solution

InvoZone stabilized and optimized the client’s Python/Django backend by improving pub/sub with Redis, simplifying ORM queries, adding multithreading support, and enhancing APIs. They implemented an automated video conversion hook for app media and rebuilt the mobile frontends—delivering a React Native V1 app and a Stencil/Ionic V2 app—with websockets integration for live-play synchronization. The team also delivered UI features such as tournament/tour creation and a media/story view and provided direct access to engineers and project management throughout the engagement.

Project Outcome

  • Launched the mobile app in December which attracted significant traction
  • Secured partnerships with the Canadian Junior Golf Association and the National Golf Association and supported hosting of tournaments (~168 planned, ~40 hosted so far)
  • Achieved major backend performance improvements enabling the successful V1 delivery
