Project Summary

IN Team designed and implemented the front-end for PulseGrid, a medical ECG monitoring product, coordinating UX research and defining the web app architecture and communication protocol. They built a real-time web application using Angular and Bootstrap to present ECG data, helped resolve performance issues related to high-frequency data drawing, and supported the client in obtaining medical certification. The vendor provided frontend leadership and ongoing development support, and the product launch depended on their work.

Key Challenges

  • Present vast amounts of ECG data in a user-friendly, real-time manner.
  • Ensure the app functions as an official medical product and meets certification standards.
  • Resolve high-frequency data drawing and performance issues related to real-time visualization.

Project Deliverables

  • Functional web application for real-time ECG monitoring
  • Web app architecture and initial communication protocol
  • UX research and design coordination
  • Holter module front-end
  • Real-time ECG data visualization features

Project Solution

IN Team coordinated UX research, prepared the web app architecture, and defined an initial communication protocol for real-time ECG presentation. They built the front-end using Angular, Bootstrap, and WebSocket-supporting libraries, implemented real-time visualization of ECG data, and continued to develop additional modules (including a Holter module). The team provided frontend leadership and worked closely with the client’s Warsaw office and remote backend developers.

Project Outcome

  • Enabled the client to offer a fully developed solution to customers and successfully launch the product.
  • Helped pass external medical institute tests and secure medical certification conforming to Directive 93/42/EEC.
  • Delivered high-quality frontend work with few significant issues and efficient collaboration.
