Project Solution

Development was done in C to read serial data over RS-232 and RS-485 and handle multiple scoreboard protocols. Together with the client, they built a system that translates serial data into different formats including graphics output and data scoring, and they prepared the system to work with many scoreboard vendors. The team also provided live, after-hours support during deployments and performed reverse engineering when needed. A small web interface was developed briefly to present scoreboard data.
