Project Summary

Appinventiv built and launched an iOS product-sharing marketplace (Yuzit) that connects local borrowers and lenders, incorporating messaging, payment integration, and ID verification. The vendor released the app in May 2017, continues to provide maintenance and updates, and will later develop an Android version. Beta testing with about 50 San Diego users produced positive feedback and identified UX improvements now being implemented.

Key Challenges

  • Build a local product-sharing marketplace connecting borrowers and lenders
  • Implement messaging and full payment integration (Stripe or backend API)
  • Ensure transparency and safety via ID verification (uploading driver’s license/state ID to an admin panel)

Project Deliverables

  • iOS mobile app
  • Admin panel with ID verification
  • Messaging system
  • Payment integration (Stripe/API)
  • Wireframes and design assets (logos and UI designs)
  • Ongoing maintenance and updates

Project Solution

Appinventiv took the client's wireframes and product vision and implemented the technical solution for an iOS marketplace app. They developed the core features including messaging, payment integration (Stripe or backend API), and an admin panel supporting ID verification (front and back photos of driver’s licenses/state IDs). Appinventiv also created design assets and logos, released the app to the App Store in May 2017, and continue to provide maintenance and iterative updates while preparing for a future Android development phase. The vendor supported project management and scaled staffing when deadlines required it.

Project Outcome

  • Beta testing with about 50 users yielded overwhelmingly positive feedback
  • Identified UX issues (navigation steps and transaction close time) and updates are being incorporated
  • Vendor delivered the first version on schedule, provided strong project management, and continues ongoing maintenance
