They built a base layer (networking, container registries, automated builds, GitLab runners and CI/CD), a middle layer of fully managed Kubernetes supporting dev/staging/prod and custom environments, and a top layer that automates application deployment. Each microservice received its own GitLab pipeline with build triggers, security scans using sensible allow-lists, and automated or one-click deployments. They delivered comprehensive documentation to speed onboarding and reduce operational risk.
